Bavaro is adjacent to Punta Cana and is served by the Punta Cana airport enabling rapid access to the area on arrival. Plaza Turquesa is another option for a handful of boutiques selling imported beachwear and accessories, as well as locally made souvenirs. Palma Real Shopping Village houses multiple designer clothing and accessories stores, art galleries, as well as small arts and crafts shops, cigar shops, and supermarkets. On the beach, Playa Los Corales has a craft market shopping area, selling all things Dominican.
There is also a good selection of supermarkets, medical facilities, pharmacies, and hospitals all within easy reach.
